This week we had the pleasure of entertaining (or rather, being entertained by) none other than M’sieur Jean-Charles Boisset, of the Boisset Family Estates. As you can see, a great time was had by all! Over dinner our own Chef Cedric and Michael Cecchi (manager and beverage director), along with Nicole Burke of Vougeot, enjoyed stories and insight into the charmed world of an inspired winemaker. Naturally, wine was well enjoyed too!

Taught the traditional way of wine production from his parents, Jean-Charles dove into his family’s business with gusto and passion. Jean-Charles lovingly likens the delicate balance of his wine to the opposing yet complimentary qualities of his mother and father. His commitment to biodynamic farming and minimally invasive production is also an embrace of his heritage. The true beauty and artistry of winemaking can be sensually experienced in each bottle.
