Canapé's new clothes
Everyone’s breaking out their new digs for spring. We’re getting involved too, shopping at Fishs Eddy for some sexy new wares on which to serve our canapés. And after a fashion shoot they’re ready to show off at your table!
Redefining the weekend
We do a lot to, as Tim Gunn would say, “make it work” here at Bobo. We put new spins on classic dishes, reinvent time honoured cocktails and now we’re taking a stab at the weekend. The weekend is typically on, well the weekend. But to heck with that. You want the weekend on a week day? You got it. From this moment forward, between the hours of 5pm to 7pm eastern standard time,...

Our family, around the way
We keep it local here at Bobo. And by local, we don’t mean picking up as much as we can from the farmer’s market. We’re in an Empire State (and surrounding areas) of mind as a modus operandi. You’ll hear us talk about some of our sources a lot. Places like Brooklyn Grange, Ronnybrook Farm, Stone Church Farm, Padgett Farm And Eva’s Garden (where we got the Claytonia...

Plate to Gate 2011
They’re almost here. After Edible Manhattan, what more can be said? “Can’t wait!” I would say that. Check out below for FAQ on the events and call us at the restaurant to book tickets! 212.488.2626

We're going wild... for the Garden
The Garden is in full effect here at Bobo. The top’s off and we’re all getting involved. Happy Hour in the Garden; where raw oysters are one dollar (each), canapés are three for six dollars, local beers on draft are five dollars and local rosé from Wolffer Estates is seven dollars. And through some kind of magical oversight Happy Hour actually lasts two hours. From five in the...

This is it.
It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. The Garden has taken it’s top off. And this isn’t just a “Garden Goes Wild” moment of spontaneous exhibitionism. It’s going topless all summer long. Dinner, drinks, brunch, whatever the occasion calls for the Garden can do it all and do it right. Another indication that we’re ready for Summer here at...
The Man, the legend...
For many of you, and certainly for us, Andy Vaughan and his beautiful family are our own little royal family; celebrated, spectacular, hilarious and hold a special, important place in all of our hearts. Andy is a legend to all of us here at Bobo. Alas, it’s time to say goodbye to “AV”. Won’t you join us on this, his last night, in thanking him, teasing him and/or raising...
Kentucky Derby
“Total chaos, no way to see the race, not even the track…nobody cares. Big lines at the outdoor betting windows, then stand back to watch winning numbers flash on the big board, like a giant bingo game.”
~Hunter S. Thompson
It won’t be anything like that here at Bobo. We’re going to have a flat screen TV in the Den so you can catch “the most exciting two...
All Mothers Love Brunch
Fact. Especially true when accompanied by loving children. Well, we love moms too, and we’re showing it by serving up our delicious brunch (featuring Crab Cake Benedict, pictured above) and giving Mom a complimentary cocktail. We’ll even ask to see her ID. Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 8th. We’re open for brunch from 11am-4pm.

Summer (happy hour) has arrived
Busy week coming up here at Bobo. Horse racing, Mother’s Day Brunching and Garden Exhibitionism, but like any other sensible person we’re starting off with drinks and snacks. Starting tomorrow Summer Happy Hour is back, maybe well ahead of schedule but certainly right on time. For snacks we’re doing $1 oysters. We get most of our oysters from Mike Osinski in Widow’s Hole....
