Chef Connolly in Boston Herald
It’s not every day that we host four NFL offensive linemen at bobo, but a few weeks ago we did. You can read about that and more in the Boston Herald article featuring New England Patriot Dan Connolly and his chef brother, bobo’s own Chef Patrick Connolly. During his time in Boston as the chef at Radius, Chef Connolly spent some time feeding the Patriots linemen. Was the secret to...

Terrific News For Our Local Meat Supply From The... →
Christine Muhlke reported in Sunday’s New York Times Magazine on a new mobile slaughterhouse that offers a ray of hope for both farmers and diners in the North East. Chef Connolly's Lamb Riblets
Some folks might be slow to admit it but we all love meat on a stick. And luckily, we have nature’s pre-shaped kabob—the rib. I’ve never met a pork rib, beef rib, chicken wing, or drumstick I didn’t like, and this spring, my particular sweetheart is the lamb rib. I have always sort of felt bad for lamb. During the first half of the 20th century, it was so loved in this...

Mother's Day Shout Out
Mother’s Day 1988-St.Louis
My mom is one hell of a cook. Growing up, my brothers and I would finish the weeknight family dinners that my mom would begin the night before. But on the weekends, we all cooked together—Mother’s Day was never an exception. Although she’d always try to work a little more ‘gourmet’ dishes into our collective repertoire (notably the...
