Inspired by the joy of having friends over for dinner, Bobo opened in the fall of 2007 in a century-old Greenwich Village townhouse. The restaurant was created by Carlos Suarez and is run by Nicolas Barthelemy and Chef Cedric Tovar.
Bobo is open for dinner nightly and brunch on the weekends, and serves classic French food, seasonal cocktails and sustainably produced wines from family-owned vineyards. The restaurant was designed by Dekar and spans several floors of our elegant and funky house, offering a range of environments for a range of occasions. We do not serve bottled water, but we do serve vinyl. And we have a beautiful garden.
The Kitchen
Chef Cedric Tovar’s menus offer a contemporary take on seasonal French classics that celebrate our region’s best ingredients, from fantastic fish and shellfish from the shores of Long Island, to gorgeous duck and produce from the Hudson Valley. Our food is simple and soulful.
The Cellar & Bar
Bobo offers seasonal cocktail menus, a cellar focused on family owned and sustainably operated wineries, and local draft beers. While the wine list includes selections from around the globe, we also offer a highlighted section of superb wines grown from the Mid Atlantic states north to New England.
